#RockingMotherhood Challenge

Ten reasons I am rocking motherhood challenge accepted

I was challenged to write ten reasons I am rocking motherhood. When I first agreed to it I thought well that would be easy enough. There are plenty of reasons I am rocking motherhood. Then I started writing and realized it truly is hard to write about your self. Being a mother you are always giving and never really think about yourself and how great of a mother you are. This challenge is truly an amazing way to make mothers realize just how much they are rocking motherhood.

Spent my mom break cleaning the apartment

Mom Break

A needed break

When you are a mom it is hard to get a break. There is always something to do. A diaper needs to be changed, a baby needs to be fed, a sippy cup needing found, and etc. When you do get a break, it is rare. I was given a break from my husband yesterday. That was definitely a needed break. Even though I was not happy how long they were going to be gone.  I even told him to just come back a couple times, of course, he refused.  Continue Reading →

A Mother’s Bond

A mother’s bond

A20151117_074833 mother’s bond with their child is something no one can understand. Just as no one can understand a fathers bond with their child. For 20151118_121933 a mother, we carry our child for 9 long months. Feeling their kicks, hiccups, and every little move they make. We are able to feel them before they are even born. Before we are even able to see them. We nurture them, supply everything they need, and eventually give birth to them. We go through unimaginable pain to bring our precious bundle into this world.

My bond with my son

My child is my everything. He is my heart and soul. He is my best friend. My baby love. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do  for my son. I breastfeed him, take care of him day and night, and I am always there for him. Being a stay at home mom I am able to b1468103213542uild on the bond my son and I have. I have this bond with him that no one else will be able to have. The bond, a mother and her son share, is something not to mess with. It is something only we can have. Something that will grow as he gets older and never go away.

Having this bond is so important in a relationship between mother and child. It is something you will rely on when things get tough. It is something that will help them when they are having a rough day or not feeling well. This is the bond a mother and child share the day you find out your pregnant. You start building your bond when you are pregnant and just expand on it and nurture it when they are born. Never give up on this bond. Continue to nurture it as they grow up and have kids of their own. Even then they will rely on this bond to get through life with their own children.
